Alliance has traded for many years in the Channel Islands and was the last true Cash & Carry to serve both Guernsey and Jersey. As business in Guernsey began to change with less small retailers, and a declining tourism industry, the cash & carry began to evolve and became more reliant on retail customers. In 2008 Alliance in Guernsey was relaunched and set its sights on becoming the leading retailer on three fronts “value, range and quality” trading through our 28, 000 sq ft out of town site in the Vale. Since then we have opened two further stores and in 2013 established a trading relationship with Tesco, bringing greater choice to our customers.
