Celebrating 400km Cycling Challenge

We’d like to congratulate our very own John Kinney, Kirsty Cooper and David Visick, as well as the entire Bikes Against Bombs team, who have raised an incredible £273,000 for MAG, the Mines Advisory Group.

Our colleagues rode 400km over five days in the heat and hills of Vietnam alongside 40 other people from the wholesale and convenience sector. Vietnam is still living with the legacy of a 50 year-old-war and MAG’s work in locating, removing, and destroying unexploded bombs, is crucial for enabling safer living, working and playing conditions.

John Kinney said: “The work that the MAG team are doing both back in the UK and here on the ground is truly inspirational. They are bringing back land to the locals so they can farm it, which really is life changing for them.

“It’s a stunning country to ride around and everyone’s been really friendly. Both the people that we’ve met who actually appreciate us being here and what MAG are doing, and also the team that are actually on this trip. A really great bunch of people.
