The two winners were announced at last nights prestigious awards evening held at the Guildhall in London.
Yesterday evening saw the good and the great of the FMCG industry attend the 2022 Grocer Gold Awards to celebrate the best in class across 33 distinguished award categories. Among the evenings winners were two Unitas Wholesale members, namely JW Filshill and Pricecheck.
These awards are a huge honour for our members and this is recognition of their excellence and quality in the FMCG sector as well their endeavours in key areas of business innovation and customer satisfaction.
The celebrations took place at the stunning Guildhall in London on Tuesday 14th June 2022 and the fabulous evening was hosted by Sir Trevor McDonald OBE.
Initially nominated for the same award within the category of Regional & Specialist Wholesaler of the Year, this years submissions were so strong that the organisers decided to split the award and recognise separate achievements for Regional Wholesaler of the Year and Specialist Wholesaler of the year.
JW Filshill – Regional Wholesaler of the Year
JW Filshill are a family owned wholesalers offering a wide range of grocery, impulse, licensed, chilled, non-food and tobacco products. They currently deliver to approximately 1,600 customers all over Scotland and the North of England.
Pricecheck – Specialist Wholesaler of the Year
Pricecheck International Brand Partners is a well-established and reputable distributor of branded FMCGs, working predominately in the health, beauty, food, confectionery and drink sectors as well as dealing with discounted clearance stock.
