We’re delighted to announce the appointment of Gurms Athwal as the new Trading Director at Unitas Wholesale, effective 2nd June.
Gurms brings with him over 25 years of experience in the wholesale sector and is widely recognised as one of the industry’s most respected trading leaders. His impressive career includes senior roles across several Unitas member businesses, including JK Foods, Hyperama, and most recently Parfetts, where he has served as Trading Director for the past four years.
Gurms has also had a longstanding relationship with Unitas, having served as a Non-Executive Director on the Unitas Board for more than three years. His transition from Non-Executive to Executive Director ensures both continuity and strategic alignment, reinforcing our commitment to driving incremental growth through deeper supplier engagement.
